This is probably going to be my only post this week. I plan to be slacking at my sister and brother in laws. We will eat more than we should and I may be persuaded to have a tiny glass of wine – to be polite of course. In addition, there will be poker. What? Your family doesn’t celebrate togetherness by playing poker? I thought everyone did – it is right up there with the stuffing for us. If you start your kids playing it early, you can get all of their allowance back, for a few years at least. And it’s way more fun than Candyland.
But I digress – I though I would put together a page of recipes that might come in handy this week. I’m not going to tell you how to cook a turkey, but I have a few odds and ends that might make nice additions to your meal. Most of them are very easy, they use fresh ingredients and they will help make your dinner more special. And when I am counting the things I am thankful for this week – and there are many of those – you folks who come to read my blog each day are definitely among them. Happy Thanksgiving – I hope you are thoroughly blessed this year!
