I am more of a chocolate fiend myself, but these are perfect for a tea party. And they do look good!
I am sitting here salivating. Copiously.
Hey what a great combo of flavors, I would have never thought about a brownie like this. Thank you.
Okay I surrender.
To heck with the diet.
I want some of those right now!
Bear((( )))
Gonna have to try that. Did Riley get a sample? I’d like to hear his opinion.
Oh yum! I’m a big fan of the lemon. next year you should grow 22 pound lemons in your back yard.
Lemon? Spice? Brownie? I’m intrigued!
Hi there, I found you through a link on TJ’s Humble Origins blog :)
These look great but I have a question: I have a great recipe for chocolate brownies (which I always make without the nuts, allergies and whatnot), can I just add the lemon, cardamom and ginger to that and get a good result?
These really sound GREAT!!! I love lemon and chocolate…and the spice…sounds like a winning combination! I’d love to be a taste tester for you!
These are so good. We are still enjoying them.
Sounds great…
I found you site looking for brownie recipes to compare a brownie recipe that was on recipebuddys.com…. Please advise if you can assist… I would like an opinion on the recipe…thank you in advance…
To Kathy and other chocolate fiends – I am a choc fiend myself, so I understand, but once in awhile it’s nice to have something that isn’t chocolate. Not often mnd you, but sometimes :)
anna – I am actually working on an orage chocolate brownie, so I don’t see why not. Let me know how they turn out, ok?
olly – Riley can’t have sugar, so he didn’t get any of these. more for me that way :)
flea – I will mention that to Larry. Small problem about lemon trees surviving here, but ya never know.
And please – everyone – if you try them, come back and tell me what you thought.
Andrew – I will be happy to help – can you leave a link to the recipe? I would have left a comment on your blog, but I could decide which one. I think you have more blogs than anyone I have ever seen :)
wow those look awesome!
I’m a complete sucker for all things lemon and these look amazing!
Where are the nuts in the ingredient list?
First – per the comment by Anonymous – I did forget to show the amount of nuts – adding that right now and thanks for the reminder!
Amanda and Patricia – welcome and if you try them, please come back and tell me if you enjoyed them :)
Just ate my first slice of your suggested baked goodness and I’m in love…wonderful recipe!
These look awesome! I love lemon and it looks like these have a nice texture.

Looking for cookie recipes for the holidays and your place was my first stop. Loving these.
Dlyn, I made these yesterday, posted about them and linked back here. You neglected to mention the absolutely amazing aroma these cookies have while baking. OMG.
Plus they’re freaking fantastic.
