: ) I’ve been enjoying a little chipmunk that lives under the front stoop. He turned up his nose at bread I had out for him Monday when I was sitting out there. They are so flighty.

Thanks everyone – the chipmunks here do let us get pretty close to them. They aren’t very afraid of us and if we do surprise them, they do just what this one did – sit compeletely still in hopes they can escape being noticed. Put that together with the long lens and he made a nice shot pretty easy for me to get. Glad you all like him!

Too cute. We have quite a few of those little guys running around but they don’t hold still for very long.
You can learn a lot from our animal friends! Of course, sometimes just sitting still doesn’t work!
