can you hear my giant slurp???
I’m going to try this! My husband loves thighs but I never know how to prepare them. THanks.
Calling for sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme, and a couple of big springs of parsley has me sold on this recipe. I’ve always thought the thighs were the best choice for grilling; unlikley to get too dry and so full of flavor!
it sure looks perfectly cooked and I bet the flavors are wonderful!
One of these days you are going to make something us non meat eaters can enjoy, til then I will keep reading and enjoying the view .. I dont cook but I do love watching others
Yummy looking thighs! I’ll try this one.
I ahd heard of this before, but I didn’t know wat it entailed! Great family twist on the local classic, the poaching must keep them so nice and moist! Great job!
As always, beautiful photos :)
LOL! I like the interlude …. but at first I thought the chicken thighs were having issues!
Sounds yummy! Will have to try this soon!
Helps if I put my name…sounds yummy!
Daryl – lot of non-meat recipes around here girl. You know I love my veggies!
Thanks for the positive comments everyone – I hope you do give it a try.
And CM – that made me laugh out loud! I guess that could look like a chicken grilling disaster, stuck in there, couldn’t it?
A great idea to cook the thighs in the marinade before grilling…I hate most grilled chicken because it is so rare on the inside and burnt on the outside…I can’t wait to try it! Thanks!
I would have to use breasts, as I don’t est the dark meat, but looks good!!!
that looks so yummy today
oh my gosh I am drooling!!! This is truly one of my favorite dishes in the world.
Just awesome!!!
I am making this for the weekend.
Love your pictures. And I love marinades too!
I love the flavor in this already.. my mouth is watering. I can;t wait to try this :) i will be back to let you know how it went!
Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing with us your tip on cooking first in the marinade.

I’ve made this twice for my parents and younger brothers… everyone loves it! Great recipe! =]
Your pics had me salivating…and I had fresh herbs in the garden…so I had to try it. Came out delish even though I didn’t have time to marinate as long as you recommended. Will try a longer marinade next time, for even more flavor. Love the “simmer it in a pan first” trick! Thanks.
Thanks Nancy – so glad it turned out well for you!
