And for the last year, she has been in Iraq, working in a hospital.

Over the last year, I have heard from so many of you, expressing support for our family and telling me that you have been praying for her safe return. Some of you sent packages to Lauren and to her fellow soldiers, which were greatly appreciated. And I appreciated your kind words more than you can possibly know.

It was a tough year for all of us.
But now she is back home.
Thank you God!

  19. Oh, I’m so happy she’s home. I don’t think I ever mentioned this, but one of my brothers spent time over there as a civilian truck driver, so I can relate to your relief.
