  3. Apple butter has just a nice flavor, and adding ginger and lemon is a wonderful idea (lemon in particular is a fave of mine, but ginger is great too). Good recipe. I suspect most people don’t have a food mill these days – at least I don’t often see recipes that call for one. I do, although I admit it’s not something I use every week. Anyway, good stuff – thanks.
