It is that time again – if you have been participating, you can post your June photos and leave a comment here so we can all come and see them. In addition to those already tagged, I am adding Ellyn, because her front door and back door are no longer the same as mine. Not sure what this is all about? Look here and check it out. If you were tagged by someone else or you want to jump in and start participating, again just leave a comment on this post and put up your pics.
Here are mine. I actually stepped off the porch a few steps for these so I could get a little better angle. Another overcast day, but that just intensifies the color.
Front:Back:Right now, the back kind of outshines the front, but by next month, all the daylilies will be in bloom and then the front will really come into it’s own. You might see a few photos of daylilies on my blog then.
And while I was right outside anyway, why not enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the front porch? And why not show off my Fred and Bessie mug, which those grateful bovines sent to me as a thank you gift after their visit here earlier this spring? You can even have one of your very own if you like – go over to Flea’s and look for the link to Fred and Bessie’s fabulous merchandise.
Oh yeah – one more thing. Riley says hihave a great Saturday!
Hi Ri-Ri. I will put up my pictures tomorrow.
Thanks for including me so I wouldn’t feel left out.
Oh, those Upstate New York rolling hills – I love them and miss them …. wish I could be there in time to see the daylilies … I might just have to wait to see if you happen to post one or two pictures. : )
Your shade garden is beautiful!
Thanks all for the nice comments yesterday. I felt like a celeb! Almost like being featured in Martha Stewart magazine. : ) I love Dlyn and I love her blog!
By the way, I wonder if I happened to see Bessie recently at the shopping square near where I work. Fred wasn’t there. I took pictures but haven’t had time to send them to you Dlyn … I’ll try to soon.
PS – Ness, I’ll see if I can mention to the powers that be (like I know the “powers that be”) about the little dachsies. I have contact from time to time with designers, especially in the humor department.
….. and thanks for supporting Hallmark …. you’re helping to feed 6 children! ; )

I know you tagged me to do the front door back door…but I live in the ugly old city and I think my front door back door is nothing to brag about….maybe I should do it anyway!

Hi Riley! Your backyard is gorgeous! Do you water it regularly for your mom? My boy, Flash, waters my garden and he recently killed a strawberry plant. Careful!
