My lilac bush is still in trauma. The trunk of the cherry tree that split it in half is still in the same place. The part of the lilac bush that still stands seems to be doing quite well, though.
Just looking at your picture brings back the memory of that scent.
My son is here from the city and will stay the weekend. I am so glad! We’ll also see his brother tomorrow! Can you tell I’m happy??

Oh, it smells lovely! I “heart” lilacs!
I love lilacs. There smell makes me happy, but unfortunately our garden is too small to have them.
