The Valley

This photo is a couple weeks old, but we had nearly this much snow just yesterday. It has melted some since then, but we are having a typical spring for here, which means we can still get quite a bit of cold weather. Anyway – this is the view up our valley, which is about 10 miles long. 100 years ago there were 5 little towns along it’s length, each with stores, feed mills, dairies and other businesses. Now, all that remains of the towns are the churches, most of which are still active, with small congregations. And we still have the lovely view.

What a beautiful place to live! And, it great that you enjoy it. I think sometimes people take beautiful surroundings for granted.

Beautiful! I’m looking forward to this same picture with some pale green spring like colors in it!

You ought to pick a few scenes to do the four seasons shots with throughout the year….. that would be cool!

You’re my favorite photographer! (Too bad there’s not any monetary compensation for that title.)

Very beautiful. A shame the little towns are gone now – but still beautiful!

Thanks so much for coming by – so nice to see you. Have a good day – Kellan

I love when you can look at the sky and because of the way the clouds linger against the blueness (as in this picture), it appears as if it goes on forever. Which I know it does but, um, never mind.
