    oh its wing is gorgeous!

  2. I love red-wing blackbirds. Yesterday, one came to drink from my birdbath (which is right outside my office window), and a male robin whose nest is nearby chased him away. A war of redbirds.

I love the beautiful red spots on the wings, don’t you? Clever, putting the sound there as well. I like that.
I hear that sound in our yard all the time.

Aha! So that’s what kind of bird it is. I spotted one at a botanical garden near my house, but didn’t know what it was (I’m not a birder by any stretch of the imagination). My picture isn’t nearly as lovely as yours, however.
