Best of ….Sunday

I didn’t get a chance to ask Lauren to tell me her favorite Sunday post, but I know she really liked this one the first time I posted it, which was July 13th, 2008. If you are new to my blog, our younger daughter Lauren is in Iraq and each Sunday I post a photo for her – something she would enjoy from home. Have a great Sunday!

I have no idea how I ended up with this shot – it was taken in the middle of a sun-shiny day, not in the dark. It is my only near-white daylily and the name is why I bought it: “Gentle Shepherd”. No way I could pass that up!I will get a better shot of it in the next couple days – I actually did go out and do some weeding early this morning, rather than taking photos and by the time I got out with the camera this one was looking a little worse for wear. I snapped a few shots anyway and this one turned out with this intriguing look. It is my home photo for Lauren today, because of the name – cause I know He is watching over her. Remember to pray for her this week, okay?
