You may not realize it, but we have lions here in Upstate NY. No – really, we do. See?
From my years of communicating with Riley and various other wildlife, I was able to understand the thoughts of these lions as we observed them. This one is thinking about what he is going to eat next.
And this lovely lady? She is a huge Ray Charles fan and fancies that if she’d just had the chance, she could have been a backup singer for him. She’s pretty good too – listen:

Those are magnificent animals. We took our boys to the Wild Animal Park (and to the zoo) in San Diego a few years ago, and it was incredible to see them running and loping and lazing around (and a little scary). These are some very cool shots!
