I will be back later on with a really nice recipe for some weekend cookies, but for now, I just have this ‘shroom. [late day addition – the cookies ain’t happening today it seems. Tuesday – I promise!]
Last night Larry and I went up in the State Land Forest to take some photos, which I will post in the days to come. Under the litter of last year’s oak leaves, I spotted a flash of red, and pulling back the leaves, I found this.
I would not have been surprised at all to see a toad sitting on it and even less surprised if it had spoken to me. But this is all I saw.
