Puffed up doves are one of my favorite sights during the winter. We had a flock which hung out in our trees in the backyard. They always reminded me of Christmas ornaments on the trees.
Happy spring! I’m so glad it’s here. I love my snow but it’s been a long, rough winter for the east coast this year.

Good one. And now of course, that song is stuck. But it’s a good song to have stuck in there. Hope your weather is getting more spring-like.
That dove and I are of one mind…
Kate – it has been stuck in my head since I did the post earlier today – glad to pass it along.
MPM – I am sorry to report that the dove still sees only snow – no bare places in our lawn yet.
Dare I say it? It felt almost spring-like for the past few days… :)
Me too…we had temp’s in the 60’s this last weekend and then hail & snow on Monday! Crazy!!!
Great picture by the way.
Mary – here too, but I guess that is going to change a bit over the next couple days. Still – winter has lost it’s power over us I think…
Thanks hi-d, sounds like you are a little south of us :)
