Cause I am not even home, but taking advantage of Blogger’s auto post feature. I hope you enjoy this week’s offerings. Road trip pics tomorrow!
The first daylily of the summer – just an ordinary dark eyed stella, but pretty nontheless. This Sedum “Acre”, is slowly filling every crack in the sidewalk and patio – not to mention any other unoccupied spot in the entire yard. This coleus lives in a pot out in the shade garden.Another shot of Ninebark “Summer Wine”, this time in bloom and with a happy bee hovering about.Wow – what have we here? Could this be Mr Wren? Bringing a stick to the new birdhouse? It is indeed and now we just have to wait and see if he can convince some nice lady wren to share the new digs.
Beautiful photos.
I love the one with the bee.
I love the closeups. And hooray for Mr. Wren. I’m glad he wasn’t discouraged by loosing his other spot.
That wren is so cute. I hope he finds a nice lady to settle down with. =)
I thought of you yesterday as I was taking daylily pictures! Great capture on the giant bee!
Have fun on your road trip. Dontcha love autopost?
You are so good! I think I see some daylily watercolor painting projects in my future! …. and you (or should I say they) proved me wrong about the wren house ….. I’m jealous … I miss my singing male …. must be she wasn’t impressed …. (an alternative to the boy with the bat idea).
Have a nice trip!
Gorgeous photos!
Is that what that stuff is called? Sedum Acre? For years my grandmother called it Creeping Charlie and I renamed it Sorry Charlie because I took a clipping of it and was sorry I did so. Its everywhere now!
