Now first we have some breaking news. This sign is in front of a certain house down south a ways, which means the people who live there right now will be heading north by the end of the month. The World’s Most Fabulous Grandchidren will be living a whole lot closer to Grammie and Grandpa. [and their parents are coming too, from what I hear]
This is the pic I used for the new header:
This little guy hangs around the feeder half the day:
I love rocks and water together. You have to be careful stepping out my back door, or you could fall right in here:
Another couple of regulars at the neighborhood diner:
This little bit of decor is usually put away in the winter but now I am kind of glad I missed it:
Here it is again with a couple filters applied that left it looking like a faded newspaper photo – which version do you like better?
Why do the parents always have to move along with the grandchildren?
I love you diner regulars. I get massive amounts of sparrows, and quite a few pushy doves, as well. Greedy creatures.
The newspaper version. :)
Tag! You’re it! This is a REALLY easy one, so pop in at my blog. :)
That last photo is so beautiful! I like the vintage look of that one photo too :)
I love the bird pictures. You’re a good photographer.
So happy the kids are coming north. I want to hold Anna!!!! and Mark too.
I like the color photo of the decoration and I love the dove picture.
Yay! for the moving closer!
Every single photo rocks, you should know. I LOVE the dove photo the best. I like both versions of the every season plaque equally, just in different ways.

Great pics! Love the last photo, I’m a sucker for sunrise and sunset shots. Glad to hear the young’uns are moving near to you.
What beautiful photos! All the snow kind of looks like our neck of the woods too.
:)
Voting for the colored version just because WHITE is not what I want to see right now! :-)
I love the last picture… I have way too many sunset pictures. I love a beautiful sunset. (I’d love sunrises too, but I’m usually driving to work)
Those brownies are STILL tempting me!

Oh, I LOVE the trees picture! It’s fantastic!
Also really liked the doves. And prefer the color one of the stone.

Congrats on getting your grandchildren near by! Great pictures too.
Beautiful photos! Love the “faded newspaper” look. And congrats on the sale and the move…best wishes for energy and happiness.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I love the color version of that one photo. The close up of the birds are lovely too. I love the water over rocks photo too. It looks like something I would take.
Stopping by to say hello, and what a nice treat! Your pics are charming.
I so get you. The plans are in the works to have my duckling and her mini-me move back to town by mid-year. This Mommy and Grandmommy cannot wait.
Beautiful pictures – We’re way down here in the south – Miss those big trees, green grass and rippling brooks :)
Great pics!
Wow, gorgeous photos!!
How far north? Minnesota north?
