A boy and his dandelions

Even a very masculine, truck playing, lego tunnel building, tool belt wearing, ball catching little boy appreciates a field full of flowers. A field where no one is telling him to be careful about what he is stepping on and he can run to his heart’s content.fieldNot only can you walk and run wherever you like, you can pick a bunch of these flowers and no one gets at all upset.pickThat sap stuff is a little stickystickyBut these flowers make us laughlaughAnd maybe even dancedance

I get no respect!

I take a lot of photos – you know that. And you know that I take a lot of photos of birds. What you don’t know is how uncooperative those little buggers are. I can’t begin to tell you how much I spend on birdseed every year – you would think they would be more grateful and strike some nice poses for me. But no. Instead I get a whole lotta bird butt.

I get Junco butt and Goldfinch butt

Wednesday is for photos

First year of blooms on this “Charles Jolie” lilac
One of only two remaining daffodils – first year this has bloomed too
Emerging foliage from one of my favorite hostas – Kabitan.

I will probably put up a couple more later on, but for now I have to run.
