I was looking through some of my photo folders from last summer when I ran across the series that contains these shots. I was instantly transported back to the June evening whe I took them. We had just decided it was time to finish getting dinner ready, after a lovely hour on the porch with some wine and snacks. Larry had gone to light the grill, and as I was gathering up the remains of cocktail hour, I noticed the play of the evening sun on the hayfield across the driveway. We ended up eating a little late as I recall. It was worth it. And this morning when everything is covered with a fresh blanket of white snow [which is on top of the fresh blanket of snow from yesterday, which was on top of the fresh blanket of snow from the day before that…] I really enjoyed remembering that evening.

Lovely memory.
I do believe we’re through with snow down here.
what a vision in green ~ ELK
Sigh.
beautiful memories – beautiful shots
Dont tell TSannie but the forecast for this weekend is snow … followed by very cold temps next week.. so you posting those pix today is perfect timing!
Beautiful!
Green …. I love it. Please winter …. be over soon! When we went to south MO last weekend we passed some fields that something was sprouting …. I have no idea what sprouts this early in MO , but it was so pretty. It was bright green and stark amongst all the brown and grey.
beautiful pictures!
Oh how I long to see green again.
beautiful shots
I still can’t believe how much snow you have.
It really helps to look through old files, doesn’t it?
dlyn, Thanks for the comment on my new blog. After all these years I have finally become somebody ! And by the way, with baby Echos ears, I know the answer is out there……
