Lots going on this week, so my photo processing time has been curtailed somewhat. I like these two though and if I have time later on, I will be back to add a few more.
I think this is a baby Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. It is hard to tell with babies, because they can look very similar, but this one bears enough resemblance to the female that I am pretty sure. He comes around a couple times a day for a little snack.I cut these back a couple weeks ago when they were beginning to look a little worse for wear and now the whole pot of them are springing back into bloom.
Have a great day!
My mom used to get a ton of grosbeaks in the Bitterroot valley of MT. Also tons of crossbills, those are the neatest birds to look at. Great pictures.
What a pretty little thing! I just love baby pictures. :)
What beautiful pics, the flowers are gorgeous.
I take horrible close-up photos AND all my flowers are dying. I could use you around here!
Oooo, pretty! Coreopsis always poops out on me after a couple of years, probably because I don’t amend my soil enough… Love the little bird — so cute!
Lovely. Coming here to see your photos is always a refreshing pause in my day.
Even though you’re busy, these are beautiful!
no processing needed Dlyn! They are lovely as is. =D
