Here in Upstate NY, spring does get here just that quickly. Yesterday, everything was still brown and dead looking. It has been warm the past few days though and last night night we had some nice rain showers. When the sun came up this morning, the world had changed to something quite different.
Baby, it’s GREEN outside!
WOW. We’re about to head outside to cover our fragile blossoms in preparation for tonight’s frost. :)
I love all the budding life!
And “Baby It’s Green outside”! Great line. I love the “cold” version-one of my favorites at Christmas time. Hey- Let’s make up verses! Ok, I’ll start!
I really must go
Baby it’s green outside
There’s acres to mow
Baby it’s green outside
Flowerbeds to groom
I’ll get my gloves, the hose, the mulch…
So, I am no lyricist. But it’s fun!
That is great Lori!
Flea – we will still get plenty of frosts – our last frost date here in the end of May.
just gorgeous..
I love Spring — and you are a great photographer!
I’m so glad that Spring is coming to your neck of the woods! That lens attachment is awesome. Now I’m wishing I had just gotten the attachment rather than springing for the whole lens. Darn! These are great.
