I couldn’t say so before, but Lauren has moved to another area in Iraq and let us know yesterday that she is there safely. This morning’s photo is for her & it’s a common sight this time of year – a snowy morning. No need to change this over to greyscale to get this effect – with the exception of cropping, it is straight out of the camera. The roads are awful, so we are skipping church. Larry is out plowing – his family Christmas is later on today, so we are looking forward to that. But then, we only have to walk a couple hundred yards up the road to get there. This is definitely a “wish you were here” edition of Lauren’s Sunday photo. Blessings on your day all.

There's a new blog in town, and eventually everything from here will be moved over there. You don't have to wait though - go and check it out now!

If it makes you feel any better, it is 7 below in Kenosha this morning and high winds. We had more snow last night. At least we are going to have a white Christmas. Stay warm….
I think for once you and I have very similar weather!
Beautiful picture!
Have a wonderful day!
I am glad that Lauren is fine and safe. I have been wondering how she has been doing since she hasn’t blogged for a while.
I was planning on sending her another package in January – is the address still the same and everything even though she has moved?
I wish we were there too in addition to Lauren.
beautiful to look at,not so beautiful to plow
it is windy here but beautiful… wish you were here!
It’s a simple peace that eminates from your photos today. Let us all pray for Peace throughout the world.
We were fortunate that the Purdy side had their party yesterday when it was clear, and we are just hunkered down here at home.
Glad you had a nice family day. Hugs to Lauren.
Blessings to you, dear Dlyn.
