My Final Blog-o-Versary Giveaway – Music!

The final Giveaway is my favorite Christmas album.

rose

Rose of Bethlehem by Selah. Larry and I have gone to Selah’s Christmas concert 3 times and each time were so incredibly blessed by their talent and the faith that they share through their music. The first time, I bought this album and listened to it over and over as I prepared for both of the girls being home for Christmas for the first time in 6 years. I have to admit, it is a little harder to listen to this year, knowing that Lauren will be so far away from us. I know she is probably listening to it too though, because I gave her a copy a couple years ago. This will go out via Amazon to the winner [US addresses only please], drawn by the good old Random Integer Generator thingamabob from the comments on this post.

To enter – leave a comment, answering this question:
What is your favorite Christmas music/album/performance and why?
This final contest will run until Saturday at midnight EST, with the winner to be announced Sunday evening.

Good Luck!

My favorite Christmas CD is These Are Special Times by Celine Dion. I love her voice and the music is combined with her own music in addition to traditional Christmas songs. Thank you for the chance. This looks like a wonderful Christmas CD. Merry Christmas!

0I am hedging my bets and entering again. I love Holiday Music! Those Oak Ridge boys are good but so is Josh Groban.

  11. Meredith says:

My all time favorite holiday album is the soundtrack for Charlie Brown Christmas performed by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. I’m six all over again when I listen to it!

    Merry Christmas!

  12. zobabe says:

My favorite is the Michael W. Smith album with Christmastime on it. The arrangements are top-notch, and there is just something about Smitty that makes me believe him. The message is all the more powerful for it. I know that sounds odd, but that’s the best explanation I can give.

I have to agree with Meredith and give Charlie Brown an honorable thumbs up, along with some of the best a cappella Christmas music EVER, “An Evening in December,” by First Call.

I like Amy Grants Christmas album. I just like a mix of Christmas music, so I listen to a local radio station that plays all Christmas music.
