Ok – so I forgot to take the last batch of photos. I guess I got distracted by the tomato sauce splashed from floor to ceiling, the piles of seeds, the constant rearranging of the freezer to accomodate yet another batch of sauce. 25 Quarts of sauce and about 8 pints of tomato jam. Plus I-don’t-know-how-many peppers in the freezer. I am just about half done for the weekend. Tomorrow is roasted tomatoes and pickled hot peppers. If I can get out of bed and pick up a cup of coffee. See you then = have a great Saturday night folks!

I’m impressed! I’m makin’ sauce tomorrow – for the first time in my life I have more tomatoes* than we could possibly eat raw, so sauce it is.

So….how was the jam with the tequila? LOL Seriously, I’ve never heard of tomato jam before. What does it taste like?
