Being kind of housebound and not getting around too well, even inside, has given me a chance to complete a project I have been meaning to get to for months – my Amazon store. I know, I know – how has the world even been spinning as it should without this? Ok – so it’s not quite that momentous, but I am still pretty glad to have it done.
Allow me to explain. Living out here in the middle of nowhere, Amazon is one of my favorite things on earth. I can get just about anything delivered right to my door, and because I am such an addict that I even have a Prime Account, I pay no shipping and have it in two days! And, the folks at Amazon have a program so that bloggers, such as myself, can create links, widgets and stores. If a reader makes a purchase through one of my links or through my store, I make a little bit of money. It doesn’t change what the reader pays, and while it isn’t a lot, it does add up. Some of you already know how to shop through my link, which has been over to the right there, in the sidebar for a long time, and I am grateful. You don’t even have to be purchasing something I have listed or reccomended – if you click through to Amazon from my link, I get credit for any purchase you make. Sweet, huh?
