Someone has issues

We took a little road trip yesterday and saw many interesting things. As always though, I am sharing the very, most interesting sight of all with you. I think there have perhaps been some problems in this particular neighborhood with polite dog walking practices:

Thanks ……… you know I wait until LUNCH TIME to read your blog . : (

You know, when I was a kid ….. I never saw people walking their dogs with little baggies in their hands ….. it’s a kinder gentler world now.

    Back to lunch.

We need signs like that in our neighborhood. Some people just won’t curb their dogs OR pick up after them.

I’ve taken to telling offenders that if I don’t leave my children’s dirty diapers in front of their house I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask that they curb and clean up after their dogs.

  3. Ness says:

Well, it is succinct and to the point. Amazing and sad that such signs are necesary..

Absolutely NO room for interpretation on that one (laughing).

    But I don’t understand!

    kidding.

So, sad that it’s necessary. One house in our neighborhood had a post at the edge of their yard for a while that had a supply of baggies on it! Don’t know if it worked or not, but it’s not there any more.

    tee hee. that’s funny.

I guess they had to put the picture up because most dogs can’t read. (except for Riley of course)

    :>)

    YR

YR – I think you are onto something there! On the other hand, how exactly would you express this in words?

For the record, I have baggies stashed everywhere and find them in every pants pocket, my purse, coat pockets and all over my car. Riley insists on being responsible at all times!

  11. Flea says:

Oh that’s HILARIOUS!!!! Our dogs go in our back yard. Or in the woods. They’re not allowed to wander the street.

  12. Lori says:

Oh, if only everyone was as considerate and responsible as flea! I need one of these in my yard so badly. I have already had to call animal control once this month!
We used to drive by a guy in Vegas who had one that looked like a tombstone and it read, “Here lies the last guy who let his dog ***t in my yard.” Seriously!

  13. Alison says:

that is priceless..I want one, do you think it would work with my dogs if I posted it where I did not want them to go??
