I am still alive, more or less. I seem to have sprained the muscles in my head that are used when one blows one’s nose. I had no idea that these muscles were even there until this past week, but I did something bad to them and now they hurt like heck every time I blow my nose, which is now approximately every 7 minutes. A huge improvement from every 3 minutes.
I think I am back to regular blogging this week. That is my intention anyway, though there are a lot of impediments so we will just have to see how it goes. I still feel horrible, my house is still over-run with short people with sticky hands [I like that part actually] and my father in law is seriously ill. So, we will get along as best we can. I have a recipe, some photos and maybe even an interview toward the end of the week.
Thanks for all the good wishes last week – I appreciated it very much.
Oh yeah – head over to my friend Jules’ blog to see what she has to say about pug rescue!
So glad to see you back. I didn’t bug you because I figured either you were sick or all of you were sick.
Sorry you’re still fighting it. It must be the full blown flu instead of a cold.
Feel better soon.

I am glad you are feeling better…do you think you might have a sinus infection?
Head colds suck. Especially when you can’t breathe. I always find I breathe better standing up when I’m sick. So if I’m working, I spend a lot more time standing around my deskchair instead of sitting in it. Coworkers point and laugh but whatever – at least I can breathe.
Get well soon and quick!
I’m glad you are feeling better. Sticky hands can be fun. Okay, so now that the funk is gone, I am looking forward to photos, interviews, and I certainly need new recipes.
Glad you’re back. Hope you continue to get well and that your father in law recovers too.
=)
You’re using a humidifier, right? RIGHT? Please tell me you use one, at least at night? Get better, Dlyn! I hope your dad-in-law is well soon.
Glad you are better! Sorry you strained your nose-blowing muscles…are there exercises to strengthen those? Weight-training?
And thanks for the cookie recipe!
