I decide for one day that I am too busy to post and look what happens! I am surprised that some of you savvier blog folks fell for this crazy scheme. Riley can’t read – he is a dog! This is how he spends his time:
See? He is taking the outsides off a tennis ball for heaven’s sake. Does he look like he can read and understand questions?
I will be back in a little while to put up some real nice wintry pictures I took and you can all just forget about Riley being able to post answers to your questions.
Don’t worry – she is all distracted with grandkids coming to stay for awhile, so it won’t be that hard for me to get on here – I will be back in the morning with the answers to all of your questions. It is obvious that I have a following that needs to be satisfied and like I said, Mom is just jealous.
Riley?
I can hardly wait for your responses!
Dlyn?
I can hardly wait for more of your beautiful pics.
=)
You go Riley and do not talk to my dogs!
I officially want a dog’s life.
Dlyn, I’ll ignore the insult that I might actually ask a dog a question, especially one that might bite me if I ask the wrong question, and let you know that I’ll look forward to the wintry pictures, not even mentioning that it is 50 here in KC today.
CM
Psst ….Riley,
I couldn’t wait to get to the post today at lunch time and get the answer to my burning question about the beautiful gardens ….. does she do the Martha Stewart thing?…. (pose for the pictures but let someone else do the work.) …… does she know how to use Photoshop really well on those awesome photos? You see this is important becasue I got out the map the other day and started contemplating a trip that I want to take some day to see those gardens in person!
I really didn’t doubt your Mom until, on her prompting, I looked up info on French coffee presses and then it dawned on me ….. anyone that has time to press their own coffee….. well, I think you can tell where I’m going with that.
Sneak it in when you can…… and mums the word. ….. (You’d better get some really good cookies for this ….oh, one more thing, maybe you could distract her and answer those questions on recipe day.)
CM (can I be a cousin to a dog?)
Go Riley-go Riley-go Riley!
For shame your mother thinks you can’t read and respond!
Riley! You da dog! Hang out with the grandkids after posting and you’re almost guaranteed to get some fun snacks. :) But shhh! Don’t tell your mom!
And CM, I must protest about the work of the press. I fill an electric tea kettle and let it heat while I rinse the press and put grounds in it. Takes about 30 seconds. No filters. When the water boils, pour it in, put the lid on and prepare your mug with cream and sugar. Get your breakfast made. When your eggs or oatmeal are done, press the plunger and pour. Not a big deal. A different routine from the electric makers is all. And so much better tasting. And no electronic equipment to die or leak or flood. Ugh.
Psst . . . Riley. I know you can read. And type. And upload photos to posts.
You’re Riley.
