We are having the weirdest winter ever.
\nIn fact, we are having an un-winter.
\nPeople from way down south came to visit for Christmas, and did they get to make a snow man or sled down our hill?
\nNo, they did not.
\nAnd then we get some snow finally, but does it stick around to insulate my garden from the cold?
\nNo, it does not.
\nIt melts in the rain we get when the temperature is back up in the 40s.
\nIn January! In upstate NY!
\nNow today, when it is in the single digits, there is no snow to protect my poor daylilies.
\nBah-humbug I say!<\/p>\n
