Since spraining my knee, I have had to stick pretty close to home. It&#8217;s not very safe or smart to go traipsing about the snowy, icy, slippery countryside when you only have one leg you can really trust. Not to mention that it has been hurting quite a bit, and though I have a pretty high pain threshold, I don&#8217;t go looking for additional discomfort. It has been a lot more comfy in the house, baking new cookies and working on my other site, <a href=\"http:\/\/dessertstalking.com\" target=\"_blank\">DessertStalking<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>But winter sent me a little gift Sunday morning &#8211; beauty I could catch from the front porch.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4113\" title=\"creekin feb\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/creekin-feb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/creekin-feb.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/creekin-feb-150x92.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/creekin-feb-300x185.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>This lovely, vivid light only lasted about 5 minutes, but, I got out there and caught some. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4114\" title=\"sisters in winter\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sisters-in-winter.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sisters-in-winter.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sisters-in-winter-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sisters-in-winter-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>And while I don&#8217;t mind winter so much, you do realize that we switch to Daylight Saving Time in just two weeks, right?
