Have a good one – I am off to refill my icepack!<\/p>\nI am one of those weird people who actually like winter and snow. I like the cozy feeling of being in my nice warm house when the weather outside is horrible and daunting. I enjoying getting out there to do a bit of shoveling, fill the bird feeders and maybe take a few photos of scenes that catch my fancy. It’s exhilarating to battle the elements [briefly] and then come in the house for a hot drink, followed by whipping up a batch of hearty soup. But then, I work at home, and don’t have to go out and drive on awful roads every day. I can afford to admire winter a bit more than, say, Larry, who not only drives on awful roads, but also works outdoors in every kind of weather most of the year. He’s glad I am home, whipping up that batch of soup though.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, today, I want to imagine it looks like this outside. I can’t go out there anyway, with my knee propped on pillows and ice [oh, how I hate icing – I don’t care it if does keep swelling down, it feels dumb to put ice on one’s body when it is 15 degrees outside] I can imagine whatever I darned well want to. I even remember the day I took this – a sultry, pouting August day that later brought us a spectacular thunderstorm to enjoy with cocktail hour.Have a good one – I am off to refill my icepack!<\/p>\n
