I get something cool :)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in the middle of September, I got an email about a post I had done over the summer about <a href=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/?p=2444\" target=\"_blank\">The Flavor Bible<\/a>.\u00a0 The authors of that fine book were celebrating the one year anniversay of its publication and asked me if I would like to reference that post again as a way to help draw attention to the anniversary. So &#8211; I happily Tweeted a link back to it, because I do love that book and use it often. They also asked for my mailing address which I emailed back and promptly forgot the whole thing.<\/p>\n<p>Until the other day that is.\u00a0 The authors, Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg\u00a0have a brand new book, called &#8220;The New American Chef&#8221;, and in thanks for my lowly little tweet, they sent me a signed copy.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3201\" title=\"nac1\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac1.jpg\" alt=\"nac1\" width=\"600\" height=\"402\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac1-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>I am still beside myself.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3200\" title=\"nac2\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac2.jpg\" alt=\"nac2\" width=\"600\" height=\"362\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac2.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/nac2-300x181.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>And I am just starting it, but I already love it.
