The weather this whole year has just been nuts. Winter went on forever, then spring was unrelentingly cold and rainy, then we had 6 weeks where it didn’t rain at all, and the temperatures got up above 100, which the highest we ever remember seeing it here. This bank of billowy clouds came by as the drought was breaking up finally, on a hot summer night when we were relaxing on the front porch.
