Skywatch Friday – go take a look at photos of skies from all across the world.
I don’t do Skywatch every week obviously, since I am weeks behind the official count. Often I have something else I have to get done on a particular Friday [I know it may come as a surprise to you that this blog is actually the result of a highly organized, goal-oriented plan, always adhering to a path that culminates in the fruition of the mission statement that guides my every move here. Like, totally], or I just don’t have a photo that blows my skirt up enough to add it.
This photo was taken during our first semi-big snowfall this year which was back in November – waaaaaaay last year actually. It reminds me of laying on back under the big elm tree in our yard when I was a kid. My career of laying on my back in the yard started earlier that you thought, didn’t it? Even in the winter, I would lay on the snow and look at the sky through the branches. I had on a snowsuit weighing roughly 17 pounds so it wasn’t like I was going to get cold. I didn’t lay on my back for this one, because I had on my jammies still. I will lay on the ground to take photos, or do it in my pajamas, but so far not at the same time. Anyway – you can click on the photo to see it in a larger size.

Lovely sky and tree .. I have been shooting the same tree for a year now.. mine is the mirror image of your’s but I havent posted it for a while … and so far mine is snow/ice free!
