We were up in Watertown to visit the kids and grands this past weekend and I had completely forgotten that this month’s full moon was supposed to be so spectacular. So, there I was, without my tripod or wireless remote. Ah well. <\/p>\n
Last evening, we all piled in the car for a field trip to this wonderland of a discount place up there called Ollie’s [HUGE glazed stoneware pots for under $25], enjoyed a fun dinner together and then after we got back home, Larry and I jumped in the van to look for a clear place, away from town lights, power lines and no trespassing signs, so I could get some shots. The edge of the window had to serve as a tripod, and I had to rely on my own steadiness, the lack of which is why I own a wireless remote in the first place. Not as nice as some I’ve seen but it was fun and as always, a full moon is an amazing reminder of how small we are down here.
