I was making a list of the giveaways I have planned this month, when I realized that once again, someone was staring at me.
Me: Can I help you with something?
Riley: Well first, I am in a very nice down – I should get a cookie for that, don’t you think?<\/span>
Me: I think that only works if I have actually told<\/em><\/strong> you to lay down, doesn’t it?
Riley: I don’t see any reason to put a lot of restrictions on things like this. It just makes life more stressful.<\/span>
Me: You may have a point – I will get you a cookie in a minute. Was there anything else?

<\/span>Me: That’s right. I am celebrating daily blogging for a whole year and thanking everyone who visits here every day.
Riley: I want to give something away! People on your blog LOVE me! You know they do! Can I have a giveaway too? I think I should. Don’t you think I should have a giveaway too?<\/span>
Me: That is a very nice idea actually. Did you have something in mind?\"\"<\/a>Riely: How about this Kurt Adler “Best Dog” Christmas ornament?<\/span>
Me: That is very cute – but what if someone doesn’t have a dog?
Riley: There are people without a dog?
<\/span>Me: Yes – a lot actually.
Riley: Well they don’t know what they are missing!
<\/span>Me: I have to agree with you there.
Riley: If they don’t have a dog, they can just put it on their tree for me – I am a pretty good dog. Or they can give it to another dog for Christmas!
