We were finally sure that we would actually have ripe tomatoes this summer.  After the zero tomatoes in &#8217;09, it was such a blessing.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"tom1\" width=\"600\" height=\"388\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4714\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom1.jpg 600w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom1-150x97.jpg 150w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom1-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Fast forward a few weeks and the whole kitchen is full of these babies. SO many of these babies.  The pots on the stove simmer endlessly &#8211; sauce, stewed, roasted, ketchup, juice, enchilada sauce, salsa &#8211; where will it end?<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom2.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"tom2\" width=\"600\" height=\"308\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4713\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom2.jpg 600w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom2-150x77.jpg 150w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/tom2-300x154.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>I am not quite praying for a frost yet, but it probably won&#8217;t belong till I am crying &#8220;Uncle!&#8221;  I&#8217;ll have to make sure and come back to look at these photos in January&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Remember back awhile ago?
