There are plenty of people who would tell you that I already exist in an alternate universe. I used to the tell the girls that they lived in Momworld<\/strong> where I was the Supreme Commander in Charge of All Things. Momworld<\/strong> still exists, but the population has dropped off drastically and the Supreme Commander has a lot more time on her hands. Time to come up with endless drivel like that which you read here every day. Time to buy enough stuff off the internet that the UPS man calls me by my first name and sends me a card on my Birthday.<\/p>\n

Time to think up new ways to drive Larry around the bend with ideas like I should buy a new Nikon D90 because the D70 still isn’t up to par and they can’t do anything more with it. Our stimulus check is just sitting there in our savings account and you were supposed to spend that to stimulate the economy, right? It’s downright un-American to not<\/em> buy a Nikon D90 at this critical juncture in our nation’s history, don’t you think? [it will be here next week]<\/p>\n

And time to fool around with graphics programs like Photoshop Elements and Paint Shop Pro to come up with images like these.
\nI did these the other night when I could not sleep, so I a little uncertain as to how I did them. I have noted what I remember, which isn’t much. All of these photos have already appeared on my blog I believe – just in a more natural form.
\nLeaves on the forest floor – a watercolor type effect in Paint Shop Pro X2\"\"<\/a>A line of very old headstones in a graveyard up north – also with PSPX2 – some aging effects and a light vignetting\"\"<\/a>Sumac leaves – this one was done using an “ink outline” in Photoshop Elements I believe\"\"<\/a>Taken the same day as yesterday’s photo – increased the contrast and blew out the background a bit\"\"<\/a>And my favorite – this effect is called “paper cutout” I think and it’s in Photoshop Elements.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
