An historic event took place at this location.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2469\" title=\"wedding02_sate_land\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding02_sate_land.jpg\" alt=\"wedding02_sate_land\" width=\"500\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding02_sate_land.jpg 500w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding02_sate_land-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>These two people, who were aproximately and 8 and 13 years of age, got married. This took place at a point in time where photographic equipment was apparently quite primitive, resulting in pictures that seem to depict events taking place at the bottom of a deep dark hole.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2470\" title=\"wedding01\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding01.jpg\" alt=\"wedding01\" width=\"500\" height=\"341\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding01.jpg 500w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding01-300x204.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>They were darned hippies these two. They had lived together for a couple years already and while many of his friends were already married [and some already divorced as well], none of hers had taken that step. It was uncertain and scary, but they decided that they would give it a try, thinking it would make no big difference in their relationship and that <em>&#8220;We can always get divorced if it doesn&#8217;t work out.&#8221;<\/em> Unexpectedly, it made all the difference in the world and for the next 32 years, they told each other <em>&#8220;You are stuck with me now.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this spring, those two people had a lovely morning, tromping around this same area, which was not only the location of their wedding, but had been a favorite camping spot as well, because for awhile before they got married they lived in a van. I <em>told<\/em> you they were hippies. Looks kind of like a cathedral, doesn&#8217;t it?<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2472\" title=\"wedding03_state_land\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding03_state_land.jpg\" alt=\"wedding03_state_land\" width=\"500\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding03_state_land.jpg 500w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/wedding03_state_land-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>Anyway &#8211; fast forward 32 years.
