It was pure serendipity [and my forgetfulness last November when we went to their house for <a href=\"http:\/\/dlynz.blogspot.com\/2007\/11\/if-anyone-is-paying-attention.html\">Thanksgiving<\/a>], that I had this photo printed and framed as a gift for her.<a href=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SGmO8CCB4cI\/AAAAAAAAB3w\/3-R8cB8xHfM\/s1600-h\/girls_L%26D.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SGmO8CCB4cI\/AAAAAAAAB3w\/3-R8cB8xHfM\/girls_L%26D.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5217858805274108354\" \/><\/a>I expect that we were arguing about who got to hold the puppy and I have always been way meaner than her, so I won.  We are sitting on the front steps of the house where we grew up.  It is not far from where I live now.  The house still has those steps.
