Earlier this morning I spotted them out of the corner of my eye.  I came around the corner of the house and saw them hunkered down in a patch of forget-me-nots.<a href=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtPyZwcI\/AAAAAAAABPo\/ByOEzx3jiks\/s1600-h\/hiding_forgetmenot.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp0.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtPyZwcI\/AAAAAAAABPo\/ByOEzx3jiks\/hiding_forgetmenot.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191888086620553666\" \/><\/a>I also noticed them enjoying some vinca flowers<a href=\"http:\/\/bp2.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtvyZweI\/AAAAAAAABP4\/Pxhg3-4Vqg0\/s1600-h\/smell_vinca.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp2.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtvyZweI\/AAAAAAAABP4\/Pxhg3-4Vqg0\/smell_vinca.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191888095210488290\" \/><\/a>But when I tried to approach them, they hurried off before I could reach them.<a href=\"http:\/\/bp1.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtfyZwdI\/AAAAAAAABPw\/cUEa9hg6R3Y\/s1600-h\/run_away.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/bp1.blogger.com\/_8YuevXJXjqg\/SA1KtfyZwdI\/AAAAAAAABPw\/cUEa9hg6R3Y\/run_away.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191888090915520978\" \/><\/a>It is a comfort to know that they are still here.  I am trying something that might get their attention.  One thing I don&#8217;t talk about much is my lifelong addiction to Smarties.  I cannot be without them for long and if they are so alluring to me, can the cows possibly resist them? I am hoping that F&#038;B will be drawn in too.
