They play so nicely together.  The chunks of bittersweet chocolate in these are just sublime though and really bring the combination to another level.  We better hurry &#8211; these have to cool off before you can eat them!<\/p>\n<p>Melt<br \/>\n4 ounces butter<br \/>\nStir in<br \/>\n1 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/3 cup baking cocoa<br \/>\nThen mix in<br \/>\n1 egg<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"1\" title=\"1\" width=\"600\" height=\"357\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1847\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/1.jpg 600w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/1-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Mix in<br \/>\n2\/3 cup flour<br \/>\n3\/4 teaspoon baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teapsoon salt<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/2.jpg\" alt=\"2\" title=\"2\" width=\"600\" height=\"357\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1848\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/2.jpg 600w, http:\/\/dlynz.com\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/2-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>Spread in a greased 10 in square baking dish. The bittersweet chocolate stays gooey and melty in there for a couple days at room temperature.
